Corporate Citizenship

Corporate charitable giving is engrained in the MedAssets culture and our core values and is highlighted by the programs we’ve chosen to support. As an organization, we feel a responsibility to lend a hand and help those less fortunate, and based on your positive feedback, we would also like to provide the opportunity for each of you to personally participate in these endeavors.

MedAssets supports the following charities on a company-wide basis:

In addition to local efforts, MedAssets actively supports our troops overseas by sending 100 care packages each month to soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mully Children’s Family Charitable Foundation

The Mully Children’s Family Charitable Foundation (MCF) is a faith-based Christian humanitarian organization committed to transforming the lives of orphaned, abandoned and abused children in Africa. With help from generous people, the organization is restoring hope for thousands of vulnerable children who were rescued from the slums and streets and now call the Mully Children's Family Charitable Foundation home.

MCF rescues babies, orphans of HIV/AIDS, boys forced into child labor and girls sold into slavery and provides them with food, shelter, education and health care. The organization believes in the potential of each of these children and is committed to giving them the opportunity to develop that potential.

MedShare International

MedShareMedShare International is an Atlanta-based organization dedicated to recycling surplus medical supplies and equipment to be used by healthcare institutions in developing countries. To achieve this mission, MedShare International collects batch and single item supplies and equipment that are still valuable but no longer in demand in the United States due to procedural excess, technological change, regulatory requirements, or production overage. They are then distributed to healthcare facilities in targeted developing countries. MedShare International affords U.S. healthcare providers and suppliers an environmentally and socially responsible alternative to disposal of medical materials, while ensuring that one hundred percent of the medical materials it ships are needed and can be used.

MedAssets' Heart and Soul Program

MedAssets’ Heart and Soul Program is a mechanism that enables our employees to provide assistance to valid and worthy charities.

The core values of MedAssets – compassion, character, confidence and commitment – are critical to our success as they describe how we think, act and perform in our business operations. These principles create a corporate culture that drives productivity and makes us feel proud to work for a company that strives to achieve such honorable standards.  Because MedAssets promotes the opportunity to serve, and yet understands it is sometimes difficult to find the time to improve our communities, the Heart and Soul program has been created. This program provides a structure through which employees and the Company can join to help others through the giving of our most valuable assets: our skills, consideration, and time.

Through Heart and Soul the Company will pay its employees their normal hourly rate or salary up to five business days per calendar year to serve at a qualified and approved charitable organization.

If you’re ready to discover what it’s like to be a part of a truly special organization, we invite you to view our current openings.
